  6. Use RPRINTER to connect or disconnect a remote printer on a network. 
  7.  
  8. A remote printer can be connected to any workstation. The workstation must then 
  9. be attached to the same LAN or interLAN as the print server servicing the 
  10. remote printer.

  12. The OS/2 RPRINTER runs as an application in a single OS/2 session. It is not a 
  13. terminate-and-stay-resident (TSR) program like the DOS version. 
  14.  
  15. The OS/2 RPRINTER does not actually direct print jobs to physical ports on the 
  16. OS/2 computer.  Instead, it directs jobs to OS/2, which then directs jobs to 
  17. the physical port.  Therefore, OS/2 printing must be properly set up in order 
  18. for RPRINTER to work.
